About Anne kilguss painter

Anne was trained in the traditional French atelier  method with Boston painter Tom Ouellette. She is a member of the Copley Society of Boston and the St   Botolph Club, Boston, Mass. The club has a long and distinguished history of art in Boston . Sargent and Whistler were members of the club.  Monet had his first US show there. Anne is acknowledged as a notable artist of the Boston,  St Botolph Club, Victorian era to the Modern Era  in a book titled  ‘The First 125 Years’.   Anne has exhibited at the French Cultural Center, Boston; Boston Private Bank and Trust; the School of the Museum of Fine Arts; the Copley Society of Boston; and the St Botolph Club.  To see her work you can visit Lexaco, Harwich , Mass, and Upstairs/ Downstairs, Charles St, Boston, Mass,  or contact her directly.

Anne is a resident of Boston and Orleans, Mass. This is reflected in her love of nature and everyday life. The beauty and power of the sea is another theme in her work. All of her paintings are done in oil on canvas.
